Unlike basic time formatting libraries, this implementation features bidirectional time calculations (past and future), smooth animations, and example-based interaction to create an intuitive time calculation experience that feels natural and responsive.

The Challenge:

Most time formatting solutions are either too complex or lack user-friendly interfaces. I wanted to create a simple yet powerful time formatting tool that provides instant, human-readable results while maintaining excellent performance and intuitive user experience.

Development Story:

This project emerged from the need for a lightweight alternative to heavy date libraries. The most interesting aspect was implementing the natural language time calculations that handle both past and future dates with appropriate phrasing ('ago' vs 'in').
